Our life is a decision of investments.
We invest ourselves in capacities, expanses, people, places, and moments of this world. Isn’t it worthwhile to invest in something of meaning?
The definition of investment is to dedicate your hard-earned resources, time, and emotion towards a belief. A belief, because we trust in its significance. We believe in the cause. And after investing, our forward-looking conviction aims to create something of even greater value. Invest to grow. Invest to create value. Invest because you believe.
My mother told me “where you invest your love, you invest your life”. At the end of the day, our investments are pieces of us. They make up who we truly are. Reflect on where your time is allocated, the people you interact with, the daily routines you put yourself through…does it feel right?
Right is seemingly relative. In a past blog, we talk about rationalizing irrational. People fall into the trap of irrational time allocation. Meaning, we waste away our valuable investable minutes and emotion.
Step back and re-evaluate. Will my investment grow into something greater than what it is today? No? Then it’s probably not worth the time. Rational or irrational, time tells what it is and what it isn’t. The performance of your investment eventually affects you.
Take the time to love your life properly. Focus on your mental state. Learn to grow.
Invest your life in the things you believe in, One Day at a Time.
